Spicy Mustard BBQ Sauce
Makes 6 approximately ¼ cup servings

Ingredients
1 cup low-carb catsup
¼ onion, grated
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
½ cup apple cider or red wine vinegar
6 packets Splenda
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon paprika
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon (or to your taste) cayenne pepper

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a saucepan.
  2. Bring just to a boil over medium heat.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Serve hot. Will keep, tightly sealed, in refrigerator for up to a week.
