Simple Nut Crust
Serves 8

Ingredients
1 cup pecan pieces
1 cup walnut pieces
2 tablespoons melted butter
¼ cup granulated Splenda
pinch fine salt

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients into blender or food processor.
  2. Pulse to grind mixture to a coarse meal.
  3. Turn the mixture out into a pie pan or divide evenly among 8 individual small custard cups.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom and slightly up the sides of the container to form a bottom crust.
  5. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 5 or 6 minutes, just to set the crust.
  6. Remove and cool slightly before filling.
